The Neighborhood Bar is a collaboration of two area food and drink personalities– Chef Sam Suchoff and acclaimed mixologist, Gary Crunkleton. You can typically find Gary and his larger-than-life personality at his flagship Franklin Street establishment, The Crunkleton which has been named to many “Best of” lists by folks at Garden & Gun and Southern Living. Sam adds his easy-going persona and mastery of meats to the bar. He is also owner of the award winning BBQ joint, The Pig and founder of Lady Edison pasture raised pork products which are served in restaurants all over the country. The idea of the bar was born out of a desire to apply their collective know-how, but create something unlike their other spots– a simple, local watering hole where “neighbors” can find classic cocktails, good beer and wine, and unexpected, creative and tasty bar food.
